Eide Marine Tech AS´ HSE Equipment is developed in close cooperation with StatoilHydro.
The request appeared because of too many unwanted incidents offshore due to lack of closing restricted areas. Another problem was the quality of the earlier used closing equipment from other suppliers, not made for the rough weather conditions in the North Sea.
Together with our customers we have developed products with high quality, and all products are made of stainless steel, aluminium and plastic (pom). Use of these materials gives our products longer lifetime than other closing equipment. The closing equipment from EMT is also made for easy changing parts as springs, bands and other vital parts. This can be done offshore, or we replace the damaged with new and get the damaged parts in return for repair at our workshop. The HSE products from EMT are 100% made in Norway.
The HSE products are divided in two groups:
• Self-closing gates / closing gates
• Belt barriers with bands up to 35 metres and with your own choice of text
